You know when you are so happy nothing can ruin your happiness? This was one of those days. Even though we had prepared for rain (you kind of HAVE to in Costa Rica in May), it looked like we were going to be spared for the ceremony (which we set up outside). Unfortunately, we had a bit of a delay in getting started (you know, Brides are allowed to be a little bit late on their wedding day), and the weather changed quickly, once the ceremony started. Halfway though it, we had to run under the tent (bride, groom, guests and all) to finish off the celebration. Many would have been bummed out, but not Mila & Gui… or their family and friends. They just smiled, laughed and cried tears of join celebrating their union.

As it turns out, the rain stopped, and they were gifted with some nice fresh weather (it was a pretty hot day before the rain), and a lovely light for photos, which is always a good thing!!!

Let me tell you, if you haven’t been to a Brazilian wedding, do yourself a favor, find some Brazilian friends and get invited to one! It was just so much fun, from beginning to end. The energy, the happiness, the joy, the dancing!!!! The makings of an unforgettable new beginning by far!
